Gloucester office
In 2000 the founder of Cheltenham Residential Lettings, David
Baldwin, opened a second office in Gloucester, acquiring the
portfolio of Area Property Management and re-branding the Company
as Gloucester Residential Lettings.
With the strategically placed office at 27/29 London Road and
under the leadership of David Baker, the Company quickly established
itself as the area’s leading specialist letting and management
agency and now looks after over 450 properties in the area.
In 2005 the Company was re-branded as CGT Lettings which coincided
with David Baker becoming Managing Director and Tracy Fisher being promoted to Branch Manager.
The City of Gloucester, which is the County Town, is about to
see a massive injection of cash for regional development of
the docks and Kings Square. GL1 is now an impressive redeveloped
leisure centre.
There is a strong link with Gloucester Rugby Club, the Cherry
and Whites, with many of the team having been clients of CGT
Lettings.
The M5 now has links to Gloucester at Junction 12 11 & 11a,
making the area very accessible both to the north and south.
There is also the possibility of a new rail link at Elmbridge
reducing the journey to London to less than two hours.
Gloucestershire Airport is also another important transport
link.
The population is over 110,000
Gloucester skyline is dominated by the cathedral, surrounded
by individual shops and cafes along the pedestrian way to the
historic cross roads.
