Quedgeley office A Potted History of Quedgeley & CGT’s NEW Office
The Parish of Quedgeley lies on the left hand bank of
the River Severn 3 miles south of the centre of Gloucester.
The proximity of the city and the course of the main Gloucester
to Bristol Road through the middle of the parish have greatly
influenced its development. In 1327 12 people were recorded
to reside in Quedgeley, by the mid 17th century there were
69, 1961 just 1,121 and now just 46 years later around 12,000
live in the parish.
The day to day amenities have grown in recent years. The shopping
centre offers all day to day needs and the local bus
service to Gloucester runs every 20 minutes.
On 1st February 2007 CGT Lettings Ltd acquired the
premises and managed property portfolio of Associated Lettings
Ltd. The previous owners Philip & Jane Smith
established the business in 1987, the same year that CGT was
established. Over 300 properties are under full management
from the Quedgeley office and with the ever increasing development
of new homes and businesses in the parish the number of properties
