Under the umbrella of the Pied Piper Appeal charity, 'Emily's Gift' aims to raise an incredible £500,000 to fund a psychologist on the Emily Kent Unit at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for the next 10 years. This is a cause close to our hearts, as supporting the emotional well-being of young patients and their families is essential for their recovery and overall well-being.
We were honoured to have the opportunity to present Julie Kent with a cheque for £10,000 this week, contributing significantly to her fundraising goal.
We reached out to our generous landlords and asked them to join us in supporting 'Emily's Gift'. We requested that they donate £25 from their November rent, with CGT Lettings topping up the rest to make a total of £10,000. We were amazed by the response we received from our landlords, who wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young patients at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
By coming together as a community and supporting 'Emily's Gift', we are not only contributing to the much-needed funding for a psychologist but also showing our commitment to the well-being of our future generations.
