Our Values

At CGT Lettings, our success is driven by clear values: Family, Innovation, and Passion. We believe in treating everyone with care, leading with fresh ideas, and delivering excellence through hard work. Being the South West’s leading letting agent isn’t luck—it’s a result of commitment, professionalism, and a brilliant team. market.

CGT TRUST

At CGT Lettings, we believe that culture is the heartbeat of our business. It’s not just a set of behaviours—it’s the way we think, act, and support one another every single day. It guides how we treat our clients, how we collaborate as a team, and how we make decisions that shape the future of our business.

As Managing Director, I’m proud to lead a team where culture comes first. It’s what sets us apart and underpins everything we do—from the way we answer the phone to the way we protect our landlords and tenants.

Our culture defines us—and it’s driven by the values we live by. These aren’t buzzwords or marketing lines—they’re the foundation of who we are, and they’re reflected in every branch, every interaction, and every result.

Our Core Values

FAMILY

CGT Lettings was founded as a family-run agency, and that spirit still shapes everything we do today. With many team members connected by blood—and many more bonded by belief—we view our landlords, tenants, buyers, sellers, contractors, and partners as part of the CGT family.
We treat people with empathy, honesty, and care—because that’s what families do.

INNOVATIVE

We’re proud to be leaders, not followers. Whether it’s through AI-powered property inspections, digital tenancy systems, or our pioneering Rent & Damage Protection products, we continually evolve to stay ahead of the curve.
Our clients benefit from faster processes, more transparency, and better results—powered by the best technology and ideas in the industry.

PASSIONATE

Our people don’t just work in property—they live and breathe it.
We are ARLA Propertymark members (with over one-third of our team holding professional qualifications), and we invest heavily in training, development, and local knowledge.
We’re passionate about keeping landlords compliant, tenants safe, and every part of the process professionally delivered.

We’re also passionate about our community—from sponsoring local causes and schools, to backing independent businesses and supporting regional charities.

A Culture That Lives Our Values

These values aren’t just posters on the wall—they’re built into our recruitment, our training, our monthly 1-to-1 reviews, and the decisions we make every day. We hire people who reflect these values and help them grow into professionals who live them.
They guide how we serve clients, how we support each other, and how we grow as a business.

Our Mission

To be the number one property solution across Gloucestershire and the South West, offering landlords, tenants, and investors unbeatable service, complete protection, and innovative tools that make renting and managing property easier and safer than ever.

And Finally…

Being the Best Letting Agent in the South West Isn’t an Accident — It’s Hard Work.

It’s earned through trust, training, resilience, and a team that truly cares.
It’s earned by being there for our clients at 8am on a Monday or 6pm on a Friday.
It’s earned by not taking shortcuts, by choosing what’s right over what’s easy, and by constantly evolving to serve better.

At CGT Lettings, we don’t rest on reputation.
We work for it—every single day.

CGT have a nominated charity that we work with throughout the year and that charity is Sue Ryder. The hospice in Leckhampton provides palliative care to many residents of our county and this charity has touched the hearts of so many CGT staff members through its work, some of whom have had family members stay here. We carry out lots of fundraising throughout the year from dress down days, the CGT bake off, coffee mornings and we even climbed the height of Everest up and down the Malvern hills on two consecutive years, as a team to raise money for the charity.

For more information, please visit: https://www.sueryder.org/

We also allow all staff members one day of paid leave a year to volunteer at a charity of their choice and encourage them to use this.
