Most tenancy agreements begin with a six-month fixed term. After this, the tenancy can continue on a monthly basis unless renewed. Tenants must provide one month’s written notice to leave after the fixed term, while landlords must provide two months’ notice to regain possession.

On your agreed move-in date, you’ll visit your CGT Lettings branch to collect your keys and complete your paperwork. You’ll receive your Tenant Pack, property inventory, certificates, and final instructions. All tenants must have signed the agreement and paid in full before keys can be released.
